Water and Sanitation
access to clean water
We guarantee access to safe water in schools and rural communities through sustainable solutions.
PROJECT OASIS
Each OASIS we open transforms the school environment by ensuring access to clean water. In this fourth intervention, we implemented rainwater harvesting, storage, and filtering systems, along with direct work with students to foster the value of water as a resource and of the investment made, thus strengthening the sustainability of the system over time.
This approach is complemented, on the one hand, by water and hygiene workshops, and on the other, by participatory design workshops, where children develop identity patterns that are integrated into the walls of the collection system and co-design the park.
The result is a space that today allows for rest, play, and recreation, while the active participation of the educational community and the school administration strengthens the sense of belonging and ensures the care and continuity of the project over time. In addition, we carry out maintenance and workshops at previous sites to guarantee their long-term operability.
drinking water in the classrooms
Distribution of community filters, ensuring families and educational centers have access to clean water.
giveback program
The Giveback program, developed in partnership with LifeStraw®, expands access to safe water in schools and rural communities through practical and sustainable solutions. By distributing LifeStraw® Community and LifeStraw® Family filters and water purification tablets, we ensure that families and educational centers have continuous access to clean water, reducing health risks and improving living conditions. Each intervention not only facilitates access but also lightens daily burdens and strengthens prevention at home and school.
